To everyone who took the time to consider becoming a living kidney donor, completed testing, or went through any part of the screening process, thank you. I know that making that decision and taking those steps required time, energy, and a truly generous heart. Whether you were able to move forward in the process or not, I am deeply thankful that you were willing to consider doing something so life-changing for me.

Every conversation, share, prayer, message, and act of kindness helped me feel supported and reminded me that I was not facing this journey alone.

I found a donor, but I also found out how much love and kindness surround me. I can never fully repay that generosity, but I can honor it by making the most of the time I've been given and striving to be worthy of the incredible people who helped me.
